Wollongong Fire Station and Zone Office

It needed to cater for 58 firefighters and officers. The facility features a new facade, five fire engine bays, firefighter training and recovery facilities, an iconic firefighter pole, new amenities, a fitness room, improved storage for equipment and an external yard for undertaking drills.

The works carried out as part of this project include electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and fire service upgrades, installation of structural steel to the addition of the existing building, new concrete works, new metal roof, new resilient floor finishes, the installation of new lifts, as well as fixtures, fittings and furnishing, landscaping and external car parking.
